NeoDerma

The gold standard in dermatology for skin resurfacing, scar treatment, and precision skin surgery.

PROFESSIONAL

Specifications and Performance

Clarification

100-μm microbeams, adjustable density from 3 to 400 spots/cm²: micron-precise, controlled fractional photothermolysis.

Versatility

Ablation, vaporization, resurfacing, excision, incision, and coagulation of soft tissue using a single device.

Stability

Sealed metal RF laser tube: constant energy output throughout the entire pulse duration; longer service life than glass tubes.

Security

Class IIb medical device (MDR (EU) 2017/745): interlock, emergency stop, FTT monitoring of laser output.

10,600 nm: the reference wavelength for ablative lasers

The CO2 laser emits light at 10,600 nm (far infrared), a wavelength that is strongly absorbed by the water in the tissues. At the point of impact, this energy instantly vaporizes the targeted area (thermal ablation), coagulates the surrounding tissue, and causes collagen fibers to contract.

  • Safety: The fractional mode leaves islands of healthy skin between the treated micro-zones, promoting rapid healing and reducing the risk of complications.
  • Precision: 100 µm microbeams, adjustable density from 3 to 400 spots/cm², and adjustable pulse duration, ranging from non-ablative superficial coagulation to precise ablation, controlled to the nearest micron.
  • Effectiveness: stimulation of neocollagenesis and dermal remodeling, for uniform skin resurfacing and the reduction of wrinkles and scars.

Why Choose NeoDerma?

  • Sealed RF laser source: stable energy from the first to the last shot, no water circuit maintenance required, service life ≥ 3 years.
  • 7-joint optical arm: fiber-free beam transmission, spot size and shape remain constant throughout the entire working range.
  • Complete clinical configuration: pulse duration 1.0–8.0 ms, energy per micro-impact 2–240 mJ, spot spacing 0.5–2.0 mm: fine-tuning to phototype and indication.
  • Intelligent scanner: 5 scan geometries (square, circle, rectangle, triangle, hexagon), area up to 14 × 14 mm, 3 scanning sequences (normal order, random, median split) to limit heat buildup.
  • Dual instrumentation: fractional scan head + F50 and F100 cutting handpieces for the treatment of benign lesions.
  • Intuitive interface: touchscreen, programmable protocols (5 presets), 635 nm aiming beam with adjustable intensity.
  • Compliance & standards: CE marking, Class IIb medical device (Regulation (EU) 2017/745). Designed in accordance with IEC 60601-1, 60601-1-2, 60825-1, and 60601-2-22 standards. Class 4 laser.

Clinical Indications

  • Skin resurfacing and rejuvenation: periorbital, glabellar, and cervical wrinkles;skin laxity, helioderma (face, neck, décolletage, hands).
  • Scars: atrophic acne scars (face, chest, back), post-traumatic and hypertrophic scars, stretch marks.
  • Benign pigmented lesions: lentigines and age spots (for phototypes I–IV).
  • Skin surgery for benign lesions: warts, syringomas, growths, Becker’s nevi, angiomas, lipomas, sebaceous cysts.

A device designed to meet the requirements of medical ablation

The CO2 laser remains the gold standard for ablative resurfacing. Our teams have observed that the clinical performance of a CO2 device depends less on its maximum power than on the stability of its emission and the precision of its settings. That is why the NeoDerma 10.6 is based on a sealed metal RF source, whose energy output remains constant from pulse to pulse, whereas glass tubes exhibit a gradual decline in power and spot heterogeneity.

Combined with a 7-joint optical arm and a variable-geometry scanner, the system allows for precise modulation of ablation depth, coverage rate, and thermal load—three direct determinants of clinical outcomes and postoperative results.
